Integration

Apollo RMM

Not connected

Connect Helios to your Apollo instance to map clients and computers, and to power Apollo's one-click remote-access button.

Client mapping

Map each Apollo client to a Helios customer. If a client doesn't exist in Helios yet, create it in one click. Automap then files enrolled machines under the matching client and location.

Connect Apollo above to map clients.

Computer mapping

Each computer's stable Helios ID — Apollo stores this to target the right machine for the remote-access link. Matched to an Apollo agent by hostname; override the match if needed.

Connect Apollo above to map computers.

Helios API

The key Apollo uses to call Helios (e.g. the remote-access button). Send it to Apollo as Authorization: Bearer <key>.

Microsoft 365 email

Not configured

Used to email client-portal invitations. App-only (client-credentials) Graph with Mail.Send; the From address must be a licensed mailbox. Invites still work without this — you'll get a link to send yourself.

Twilio SMS

Not configured

Powers SMS two-factor codes. Enter your Twilio Account SID and Auth Token, then a sending number — either a Twilio phone number (From) or a Messaging Service SID. Once configured, users can pick SMS Authentication when they set up 2FA.

Settings

End-user notifications

Controls the on-screen notice the remote computer's user sees. The consent prompt in attended mode is always shown.

Agent binaries

What new installs download and what clients self‑update to. Server version …. The macOS agent is built on a Mac (scripts/macos/build.sh) and uploaded here; Windows/Linux are built on the server.

Two-factor methods

Add a method any time — you can keep more than one. Removing a method requires your current password, and you'll always keep at least one.

On-Demand session code

Have the user go to the join page and enter this code. It works once.

Make permanent

Move this on-demand machine to a customer so it stays enrolled.

Delete machine

This uninstalls the Helios agent from and removes it from the list. If it's offline, it uninstalls the next time it connects. This cannot be undone.

New location

The machine appears here automatically once it enrolls — in the folder you chose. macOS then needs Screen Recording + Accessibility granted (the installer prints the steps). Linux uses the hostname as the console name.
